Vittoria Ceretti Reveals What It’s Like to Date a Famous Actor Like Leonardo DiCaprio
Model Vittoria Ceretti opened up about dating a Hollywood icon, and it’s unfortunately not all fun and games.
When asked about the “risks” of dating award-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio, Ceretti told Vogue France:
“As soon as you're in a relationship with someone who has a larger following than you, you become ‘girlfriend of’—or ‘boyfriend of,’ for that matter. And that can be extremely annoying.”
The 26-year-old Victoria’s Secret model continued, “Suddenly, people are talking about you as so-and-so's girlfriend who was so-and-so's ex.”
Ceretti also said she believes people should be free to love whoever they choose, regardless of the labels others attach to them.
Becoming more than the label of DiCaprio’s girlfriend was one of her goals, but she also learned to adjust while dating "one of the most desired people in the world.”
"It's something you learn. If what you're experiencing is real, if you know you love each other, then there's no reason to be alarmed. Because love protects and gives confidence."

Ceretti’s relationship with DiCaprio was known to be kept low-key, so her interview for the April 2025 issue of Vogue France was one of the rare instances where she shared some details about their romance. She revealed that she first came across the 52-year-old Titanic actor in Milan, but she said, “I prefer not to go into details.”
The model was reportedly in the process of finalizing her divorce from her husband, DJ Matteo Milleri (Anyma), when she met DiCaprio in 2023. Meanwhile, before being seen in public with Ceretti, DiCaprio had dated another model, Gigi Hadid.
A source told People in 2024 that the couple was spotted at Giorgio Baldi in California with their friends. "The restaurant has been Leo's favorite for years, and he's enjoyed date nights with Vittoria several times. She's, of course, Italian, so she takes care of ordering all the favorites."
"She is very cute, sweet, and charming. Leo seems to really like her," the source added.
Ceretti also mentioned in the interview her admiration for DiCaprio’s performance in Titanic and called it “an iconic movie.”
