D'Onofrio commented to voice out his opinion: "I agree", with many of the comments of the original posts on board with the new endorsement, as others continue to pitch the likes of Henry Cavill, Theo James, Idris Elba, Harris Dickinson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Rege-Jean Page, and Nicholas Galitzine.
While Froushan is not as well-known as the frontrunners, his on-screen credits date back to 2016. From then, he has gained more recognition as Ser Qarl Correy in House of the Dragon season 1, Noël Coward in Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, Jonathan Breakspear in Prime Video's Carnival Row, and as Buck in Daredevil: Born Again.
Vincent D'Onofrio is Not the Only Arty Froushan/Buck Supporter for New Agent 007
This is not the first time Arty Froushan has been mentioned to potentially be voted as the next James Bond. This initially came from a Reddit thread from a year ago, when Daredevil: Born Again season 1 was released, aka where they first laid eyes on Buck Cashman, with the title: "Anyone else think the actor for Buck would make a great James Bond?"
Even though Buck is portrayed as a ruthless villain in the Marvel show, his suave personality, stature, and appearance, while maintaining his stoicism in the face of danger, most likely had fans falling at his feet, not to mention his British accent and particular mannerisms that make him a good fit to become Bond.
As of writing, it remains to be seen whether Amazon plans on listening to fan suggestions, whether it be high-profile modern actors or Froushan. Yet the daunting task of selecting the new face of 007 remains, especially as they must follow the footsteps of Daniel Craig's performance from Casino Royale to No Time To Die.
