Cyberpunk 2077 is Getting an Anime Adaptation

Cyberpunk 2077 has been a massive success for a video game but it has its own share of controversies. CD Projekt Red has been working its best to fix the issues of the game. However, the game's popularity was not hampered by the issues that it faced.

In fact, Netflix is diving into the technologically advanced world of Cyberpunk with a new anime series. The studio behind the anime will be Studio TRIGGER. As of the moment, the studio hasn't released any footage yet. However, the animation studio already confirmed that it will bring the video game into the world of anime.

Studio TRIGGER may be releasing some footage in the upcoming Anime Expo 2021 event. In the press release for the event, Studio TRIGGER will have a panel that will not only look at several projects of the studio but may also include their upcoming Netflix anime series, titled Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

Studio TRIGGER is well-known for series such as Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, SSSS.Dynazenon, and SSSS.Gridman. The newest addition to the studio's impressive work will be Cyberpunk: Edgerunners which is based on CDPR's video game.

Based on the studio's style and genre of anime, it is understandable as to why they chose to expand their universe even further with the creation of the upcoming Cyberpunk anime. Meanwhile, Netflix isn't slowing down in its path into the anime world. It has added new anime content to its roster and continues to expand with the upcoming anime for Cyberpunk.
