Rey (Daisy Ridley) isn't the only one who's connected to Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). As it turns out, Stormtrooper-turned-Resistance-Fighter Finn (John Boyega) also has some sort of Force connection with Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Leia's (the late Carrie Fisher) estranged son – and it looks like the connection has just been recently confirmed by Star Wars.

Star Wars just recently released a series of Star Wars comic books titled Age of Resistance, and an entire issue has been dedicated to Finn. In the Star Wars: Age of Resistance – Finn #! fans get to learn about Finn's life as a First Order soldier, and in the comics, we get to see Finn and Kylo Ren's very first meeting.

In the comic, Finn is still working as a sanitation officer aboard the First Order's Star Killer base. Mopping floors in the massive structure, Finn finds himself sharing the same space as Kylo Ren. Check it out down here:

It might seem like an innocent meeting, but looking closely there's something about Kylo Ren giving Finn a close inspection. There's no reason for Kylo to take notice of Finn at all – unless he sensed something in the Force strong enough to make him pause for a while.

This potential Force connection could explain how Kylo sensed Finn in the first few scenes of Star Wars: The Force Awakens when the First Order leader is tasked to retrieve BB-8 on Jakku. That, or there's really nothing between them at all.

Star Wars: Age of Resistance – Finn #1 is now available in book shops thanks to Marvel Comics.
