It's been a long time since we last saw Quicksilver, but more specifically, Evan Peters' version, in the MCU, but who's to say that that would be the last? A recent interview with the former hero shed light on the possibility of his return, along with a surprising potential team-up with Magneto.

Could Quicksilver's Team-Up with Magneto Happen in the MCU?

Peter Maximoff, aka Quicksilver, may have only been known as Wanda's twin brother, but fans hope to see him shine brighter in his comeback, out of his sister's shadows. But first things first: could Quicksilver truly make his anticipated MCU return?

"No, haha. No, actually. I'm curious... Yeah, anything really. I had such a blast playing that character," Peters told ComicBook in a recent interview after being asked if coming back to the billion-dollar franchise was ever tiring for him.

Peters noted that he would be interested in "exploring his weird home life" if he were ever to be asked for a reprisal, "And the relationship with Magneto would be pretty cool. So yeah, I don't know. Knock on wood."

Considering that Peter Maximoff's character was barely fleshed out, even after two portrayals, including Aaron Taylor-Johnson's, a storyline depicting Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch's familial connections with Magneto would do wonders for a continuation.

When Was the Last Time Quicksilver Showed Up?

Evan Peters made his MCU debut, reprising his Quicksilver role from the X-Men Universe, in WandaVision. This was the first and last time we ever saw him, and his return couldn't have been more complicated.

Evan Peters' character turned out to have falsely depicted Wanda's brother, despite the irony behind the actor's presence connecting the two worlds. However, with the Multiverse Saga, there's still a chance for Quicksilver to regain his true abilities and manifest himself in the MCU.

Since the X-Men are soon joining the MCU franchise, there's a chance Magneto's presence could trigger the rough storyline of his connection to the Maximoff siblings—the declaration that he is actually Peter's father.

Take the ending of Agatha All Along with a grain of salt. In Familiar By Thy Side, Evan Peters' character showed up just to warn Joe Locke's Billy Maximoff about what happened in Westview. So, who knows? Anything can happen in the MCU, after all.
