Magic: The Gathering Play Design Reveals The Card That Was Almost Reprinted in Core Set 2021

Core Set 2021 has finally arrived in Magic: The Gathering Arena, and now players can buy the Core Set 2021 Mastery Pass, showcase bundles, and booster packs. There are also five new planeswalker bundles that feature the Core Set 2021 planeswalkers (Teferi, Liliana, Garruk, Basri, and Chandra).

Each planeswalker bundle costs 800 gems or 4,000 gold, and a bundle includes a planeswalker's showcase style, and four showcase styles of their spells. The special Enchanted Super Bundle costs 880 gems or 4,400 gold.

The MTG Arena store has a new feature that includes a discount automatically applied to bundles that a player may want. The discount will cut a percentage based on items that players already own in their digital colleciton. Here are examples Wizards of the Coast provided with the 1.09 patch notes:

Core Set 2021 is now available on Magic: The Gathering Arena, and the paper version is set to release on July 3 with Prerelease events scheduled from June 26 to July 2. Jumpstart is set to launch on July 17.
