The official previews for the upcoming Magic: The Gathering Core Set 2021 will conclude this week with the whole set being revealed as the previews for Jumpstart will kick off, but before that, Wizards of the Coast has revealed some new cards for the upcoming set, including six new Shrines: Sanctum of Tranquil Light, Sanctum of Stone Fangs, Sanctum of Calm Waters, Sanctum of Shattered Heights, Sanctum of Fruitful Harvest, and Sanctum of All. With the old Shrines from Magic: The Gathering Arena'sMythic Anthology 3, there should be more than enough Shrines to build a viable Historic Shrine deck.
Check out the 6 Shrines of Core Set 2021:
Sanctum of Tranquil Light
Sanctum of Stone Fangs
Sanctum of Calm Waters
Sanctum of Shattered Heights
Sanctum of Fruitful Harvest
Sanctum of All
Wizards also revealed a new white Enchantment card called Nine Lives. Check it out:
Nine Lives
Brilliant! I can't wait to use this card in Commander and maybe in Standard, if there's a viable competitive deck that uses it.
Core Set 2021 is set to release on July 3 with Prerelease events scheduled from June 26 to July 2.
