Classroom of the Elite continues to heat up, and while she hasn’t had much to do in the anime so far, Haruka is drumming up interest based on the later events in the light novel. Thus, Classroom of the Elite fans are wondering if Haruka gets revenge after what happened.
Fans who may not notice Haruka much in the anime can be forgiven as she hasn’t been hugely involved in the events so far.
Spoiler Warning: There are spoilers from the Classroom of the Elite light novel series in this article.
Haruka Hasebe’s Role in Class 1-D
The Classroom of the Elite anime already has a dizzying array of characters as it features not only Class 1-D students, but also often puts the spotlight on characters from higher-ranked classes.
When it comes to Class 1-D, the likes of Kiyotaka Ayanokoji and Suzune Horikita are no doubt at the forefront of most fans’ minds. After all, these two characters are the major players of the show.
A Class 1-D character that hasn’t had too much to do yet in the anime is Haruka Hasebe, the blue-haired girl who is fairly quiet and keeps a low profile.
Of course, that’s not to say she hasn’t done anything of note. For instance, she took part in the survival test. Plus, she is quite comfortable with the Ayanokoji group, even giving Ayanokoji nicknames.
Haruka finally gets a chance to shine the light novel series’ latest volume, which is set during the class’s second year.

Does Haruka Get Her Revenge in Classroom of the Elite?
In the latest events of the light novel, Haruka’s friend, Airi Sakura, was expelled after being nominated by Ayanokoji.
This enraged Haruka, to the point that she vowed to get revenge on Ayanokoji and Horikita as she blamed them for Airi’s expulsion.
So, does Haruka get revenge in Classroom of the Elite? Well, not exactly.
The seventh volume shows Haruka and Ayanokoji in a confrontation. There, Ayanokoji confronts Haruka, saying that she’s only placing her feelings on what happened to Airi.
Things are cleared up when Haruka opens a package from Airi, which contains a maid outfit. This, coupled with an update about Airi moving forward after leaving the school changes Haruka’s mind.
Thus, Haruka no longer wants revenge. She may not have forgiven everyone yet, but she now resolves to help everyone graduate, possibly as Class A if they can do so.
It’ll be a while before the anime gets to this point as the ongoing third season is still in the first year part of the light novel series.
