Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner
Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Arya (Maisie Williams) Stark never really got along with each other onscreen, but Williams and Turner have been open about their friendship, having grown up together on the set of Game of Thrones. Turner had even revealed after set days, her and Williams would go to a supermarket together and buy food to take back to their room.
Though there’s been buzz about the two falling out of their friendship back in 2019, more recent interviews from the two about their relationship have them saying nothing but nice things about each other.
Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones
Poehler and Jones had played best friends Leslie Knope and Anne Perkins in Parks and Recreation, but the two are actually great friends and occasionally appear together on social media just goofing around and doing TikTok trends.
Jones said before that she had been friends with Poehler longer than they had been working together, and she considers both of them to be a ‘chosen family.’ Fans don’t know when the two are ever going to share the screen again, but they have been open about doing a Parks and Recreation reunion—and not one that’s COVID-themed.
Andy Samberg and Chelsea Peretti
Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti) may not have stayed until the end of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but the show wasn’t shy about confirming that Gina and Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) were actually childhood friends.
What’s interesting is that Peretti and Samberg did know each other when they were kids, and Jake and Gina’s relationship is said to be based on theirs. It’s even said that Samberg asked the writers to create the character of Gina after Peretti failed an audition for the series; and in the show, Gina also gets a job in the precinct because of Jake.
Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen
Though the two never really got to share any onscreen time together in the MCU, a lot of the online Twitter community remembers a time when Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen would go viral because of the duo’s undeniable chemistry with each other.
Their friendship was sparked when the two had worked together back in 2017 for Ingrid Goes West, where Plaza plays an unhealthy stalker to Olsen’s celebrity influencer. Though the two don’t have any incoming projects together, fans are hopeful they will get to reunite for a Scarlet Witch movie down the line with Plaza reprising Death from Agatha All Along.
Ariana Grande and Bowen Yang
Wicked may be all about the friendship of Galinda and Elphaba, but the friendship that has a lot of people buzzing is between Ariana Grande and Saturday Night Live cast member Bowen Yang. Yang actually has a part in Wicked as well, but a lot of people just loved the chemistry between him and Grande when she hosted the show last month.
