Catherine Ommanney opened up about her previous romance with Prince Harry because she doubted he would mention it in his book Spare. Despite their month-long fling being over years ago, she wanted nothing but the best for the Duke of Sussex.
Catherine Ommanney Hopes Prince Harry Is Happy And Has Found His Freedom
Ommanney, an interior designer who rose to fame for her stint on Bravo's The Real Housewives of D.C., recently opened up about her alleged romance with Prince Harry. According to her, they had a month-long fling when he had an on-again, off-again relationship with Chelsea Davy in 2006.
They reportedly stopped seeing when news outlets began picking up reports about them. They haven't maintained their friendship, but she is positive they will be good if they will see each other again.
Ommanney also hopes the best for Prince William's younger brother.
"I hope he is happy and has found some freedom finally, because that is something he was desperately searching for back then," she told The Sun.
She also hoped his wife, Meghan Markle, was taking good care of him. The Bravo personality has nothing but praise for the royal, who is over 10 years her junior, but she reportedly once dated.
"I hope Meghan looks after him and I don't wish him anything other than happiness and success because he is a very brave, charismatic, incredibly funny, intelligent and lovely human being," she said.
Prince Harry Could Have Been The 'Perfect Man' For Catherine Omanney
In the same interview, Ommanney shared the intimate moments between her and Prince Harry. According to her, the royal gave her the "most passionate kiss I've ever had."
After their month-long fling in 2006 ended, they met again three years later at a polo match in Barbados. At the time, she was married to her second husband, Charles Ommanney. According to her, Prince Harry was still very warm to her.
“Harry pushed past his bodyguards to give me a kiss and a hug and we had a great conversation. In hindsight it’s a shame we couldn’t have remained friends," she said.

She didn't deny that she wasn't that serious about having a relationship with him because he was only 21 at the time, and she was already a mom of two. However, she also didn't deny that she had the time of her life when she was with him. In fact, she admitted that he could have been the "perfect man" for her.
"I had the time of my life when I was with Harry as we got each other's sense of humour," she continued.
"Without being arrogant, I think we both quite fancied each other even though he was way too young for me. If he wasn’t a royal and was maybe ten years older, he would be my perfect man."
She was positive that they will meet again because "the world is a small place."
