The year 2022 is still far away but it seems like Marvel Studios is already putting together the pieces for their upcoming Ms. Marvel series which will stream exclusively on Disney+. We still don't know who ends up playing Kamala Khan in the MCU but Marvel is apparently already looking for actors who will play supporting roles in the show.

MCU Direct got dibs on an exclusive scoop and they've learned about a new casting call which reveals the inclusion of four new supporting characters that will all be part of the series which will revolve around the exploits of a young Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel who assumes the mantle from her idol Carol Danvers, the original Ms. Marvel/Captain Marvel. Previously, Murphy's Multiverse reported that an initial casting call surface which calls for a "young white actress, age 16-20", and a "Black actress, 27-33". Check out the new casting call below:

The first one is for a role named Sheikh:

Male, 50-70s, Middle Eastern, he's the Sheikh at the local Mosque. Warm, kind and understanding, he's always there to lend an ear.

The second one is for a role named Fariha:

Female, 30s, Sudanese, smart and intimidating. She is willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants, no matter what (or who) gets in her way.

The third one is for a role named Aadam:

Male, 30s, Egyptian, Sudanese, Arab, Muslim, he's a big guy, physically intimidating at first glance, but comedic, funny and smart.

Lastly, the fourth one is for a role named Aunt Ruby:

Female, Pakistani, 50s-70s, vibrant, spirited and animated. She's always in the know and never at a loss for words.

As it stands, we know very little about this series but given the fact that Marvel Studios is already pushing through with the casting process, Ms. Marvel could be a top priority over at the production company. It also looks like they have big plans for the character which I believe might concern a certain, hmmm... Carol Danvers. Hey, after all, Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel share a mentor-protege relationship in the comics and it would only make sense for Brie Larson to appear in the series to help guide the rookie superhero.

Ms. Marvel is currently eyeing a 2022 release on Disney+.
