Castaway Diva marks the return of Park Eun-Bin as a headstrong girl who dreams of becoming a singer just like her idol, Yoon Ran-Joo (played by Kim Hyo-Jin). While fans didn't know much about Hyo-Jin's character at the start, many were curious to know if she was a villain in Castaway Diva.
Before Seo Mok-Ha (played by Park Eun-Bin) can pursue her dream of becoming a singer, she gets into an accident and gets stranded on an uninhabited island for 15 years.
When she is finally rescued, she eases into modern civilization and gets a chance to meet her idol. But will Ran-Joo help out Mok-Ha? Or is she an antagonist in the story?
Who Is Yoon Ran-Joo?

What Is Yoon Ran-Joo's Role in Castaway Diva?

Eventually, Ran-Joo becomes friends with Mok-ha. After Mok-Ha rallies concertgoers to support Ran-Joo, she earns a soft spot in the singer's heart.
Mok-Ha also supports Ran-Joo by being her backup singer since she knows her songs.
Ran-Joo then decides to take Mok-Ha under her wing and train her to become an idol.

With Mok-Ha's positivity and Ran-Joo's experience in the industry, the two pursue Mok-ha's dream.
Of course, they didn't do it alone. With the help of Kang Bo-Geol (played by Chae Jong-Hyeop) and Kang Woo-Hak (played by Cha Hak-Yeon), they help Mok-ha reach her goals.
