Prince Harry has remained a part of the royal succession despite stepping down from his senior royal role in 2020. Now, the big question is, is there a chance for him to be the next king?
There's only a little chance that Prince Harry will be the next king. He's fifth in line to the throne, following his brother Prince William and nephews and nieces, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The Chance of Prince Harry Becoming King
Robert Hazell, University College London professor of government and the constitution, explained that his wife, Kate Middleton, would become the queen when Prince William became king.
And nothing can prevent the Prince of Wales from becoming king but his own premature death.
That said, there may be no chance that Prince Harry will see the throne as he's still behind the Wales’ three children.

If Prince William dies, the next in line will be his eldest son, Prince George.
"If William were to die before Charles, then on the death of Charles, Prince George would become king," Hazell continued, per The News. Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis would be their eldest brother's" successors.
But if Prince William and Kate's kids are ineligible to take the throne, Prince Harry can step in and become king despite stepping back from his royal life as he remains to be in the royal line of succession.
Prince Harry's Birthright
Birthright remains of utmost importance to the royal family, despite his decision to step down from his royal duties and move to the United States to live in California with his wife, Meghan Markle, and kids, Archie and Lilibeth.
Prince Harry will remain in the line of succession as a blood relative of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
