Trachtenberg rose to fame in the early 2000s

Her film career includes movies such as Harriet the Spy, Ice Princess, 17 Again, and her iconic participation in Eurotrip, the raunchy teen comedy that became a pop culture staple thanks to Matt Damon's earnest performance of "Scotty Doesn't Know."

Trachtenberg even made appearances on music videos at the peak of her popularity, making a small cameo in Fall Out Boy's "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" video in 2006.

The New York Post also confirmed that the NYPD found Trachtenberg “unconscious and unresponsive, pronounced dead by EMS workers," shortly after. Cops don't suspect her death to be suspicious with the city medical examiner preparing to determine the cause of death.

ABC News reports that Trachtenberg had recently undergone a liver transplant and that complications following the operation may have led to her sudden passing.

Trachtenberg's most recent projects included a small cameo appearance in HBO's recent Gossip Girl reboot where she reprised her role as Georgina Sparks for a couple of episodes in 2021, being the host of the web series Meet, Marry, Murder in 2023, and an indie film called Spyral released just last year.
