The January Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings were thoroughly measured by analyzing boy groups' consumer participation, media exposure, social media communication, and community value indexes using big data collected from December 8, 2021, until January 8, 2022.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research institute analyzed 61,966,657 big brand data for January 2022, which was a 16.76% increase compared to the 53,070,133 recorded in December 2021.
BTS Secures Top Spot At The January Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings
BTS (RM, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) ranked No.1 at the January Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings with a total brand reputation index of 11,027,000. This was a 26.30% increase from the group’s brand reputation index in December 2021.
The HYBE Labels boy group had a consumer participation index of 1,560,156, media exposure of 3,265,662, social media communication index of 2,908,359, and a community value index of 3,292,823.
High-ranking phrases for BTS include “Billboard,” “Oricon,” and “COVID-19.” While the highest-ranking related terms include “award,” “donate,” and “recover.”
SEVENTEEN Comes At Second Place At The January Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings
SEVENTEEN shows off a fierce pursuit as the 13-member boy group tails BTS at second place at the January Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings.
S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, Dogyeom, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino accumulated a total brand reputation index of 3,665,984. This was a 3.51% increase compared to their brand reputation index of 3,541,815 in December 2021.
The groundbreaking boy group recorded a consumer participation index of 420,864, media exposure of 1,504,089, social media communication index of 716,358, and a community value index of 1,024,673.
NCT Ranks Third Place At The January Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings
SM Entertainment’s NCT secured No.3 at the January Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings. The group consisted of Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Ten, Jaehyun, Winwin, Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, Jisung, Lucas, Jungwoo, and Kun recorded a total brand reputation index of 3,643,859. This was a whopping 52.05% increase from their brand reputation index in December 2021.
NCT recorded a consumer participation of 305,510, media exposure of 1,510,485, social media communication index of 600,303, and a community value index of 1,227,561.
