BTS Jimin is making history with his debut solo album, FACE, over a week after releasing it.
Jimin officially started his endeavors outside BTS as a solo artist. He initially collaborated with Taeyang for Vibe before releasing his own album, becoming the fourth member to mark his solo debut after J-Hope, Jin, and RM.
Over a week after the release of the album, Jimin immediately conquered Billboard's charts.

BTS Jimin Dominates Billboard 200, Billboard's Hot 100
Billboard announced on April 2 that Jimin officially entered the Top 200 Albums chart for the first time as a solo artist. His debut album, FACE, immediately secured the No. 2 spot, making him the first Korean solo artist to reach the mark.
He also became the latest soloist to achieve the mark after Olivia Rodrigo had her first chart entry, Sour, at No. 1.
Luminate revealed that Jimin's FACE scored 164,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on March 30. It marked the biggest US sales week for a solo artist in 2023 and the third biggest in the magazine's history.

Aside from the album, Jimin's song Like Crazy also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's 100, making him the first-ever South Korean soloist to top the chart. It broke PSY's record set in 2012, having his hit song Gangnam Style at No. 2.
Jimin's Like Crazy also appeared on different charts at No. 1, including Billboard's Digital Song Sales chart, World Digital Song Sales chart, and Top Album Sales chart.
The track ranked No. 2 on Global 200 and Global Excl. US Chart.
Meanwhile, Jimin debuted on the Streaming Songs chart at No. 35.
BTS RM, J-Hope Congratulate Jimin
Following the feat, Jimin's co-members RM and J-Hope expressed how proud they are of him.
On Instagram Story, the BTS leader shared a photo of the ranking, writing "I'm proud" and tagging Jimin. RM co-wrote the song Like Crazy.
Meanwhile, J-Hope also shared the same chart and put purple hearts on his post alongside the text "congrats" before tagging Jimin, as well.
Jimin marked the feat on his Instagram page and told everyone, "love u all,, *purple heart emoji*."
