Brad Pitt is willing to forgive his ex Angelina Jolie and move forward amid their legal battle for the sake of their children. The Ocean's Eleven star hoped that the Maleficent actress could do the same.
Brad Pitt Hopes He And Angelina Jolie Could Forgive Each Other
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced their split in 2016, just two years after they tied the knot. It has been five years since they called it quits. However, their divorce and custody battle is still ongoing. But the pair is already declared legally single.
Jolie has custody of the children, but Pitt is welcome to see them. The latter hopes for a better and more friendly arrangement for them because he wants to be present in his children's lives. Previous reports said Shiloh Jolie Pitt had it the hardest when her parents split because she was the closest to her dad.

"Brad hopes that one day he and Angelina find a way to forgive each other and move forward, for the kids’ sakes if nothing else," an unnamed source told Us Weekly. "He hates all the bad blood."
Pitt and Jolie share six children together — Maddox, 20, Pax, 18, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 13.
Earlier this year, the judge ruled in favor of Pitt over the custody trial. Jolie was not happy with the decision, according to the report.
"She will never forgive him," a tipster said. "She maintains it’s far from over and still believes that justice will prevail."
Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie's Chances Of Reconciliation
Angelina Jolie probably had a change of heart when it came to forgiving her ex-husband. In an interview with The Guardian in September, the Eternals star shared that she wanted the same as Pitt. Jolie wanted peace for everyone, including Pitt, despite how their marriage ended.
"I’m not the kind of person who makes decisions like the decisions I had to make lightly. It took a lot for me to be in a position where I felt I had to separate from the father of my children," Jolie said, explaining her decision to end her marriage from Pitt.
During the interview, Jolie said there were a lot of things she couldn't say due to her legal battle with Pitt. However, there is one thing she wants for her family — healing and peace. She wishes the same for Pitt because he is the father of her kids.
"It’s not that I want to talk about anything really, because I just want my family to heal. And I want everyone to move forward – all of us, including their dad. I want us to heal and be peaceful. We’ll always be a family," Jolie added.
