Since it came out back in 2009, FX's Archer has managed to amass a huge fanbase, and a lot of people are curious on who would be cast if they ever made a live-action adapation. BossLogic has decided to give us this fun poster imagining Jon Hamm as Sterling Archer as well as other actors on the roles of all the other characters.
This is actually the second rendition of the poster. The original had Gabrielle Union playing the role of Lana, and no appearance from Barry at all.
If you look closely at the voice cast of Archer, you'll notice that most of the them already resemble their characters. The poster even has original voice actors Jessica Walter (Malory), Chris Parnell (Cyril), and Aisha Tyler (Lana). If anything, the only voice actor furthest away from his character's appearance is Archer himself, H. Jon Benjamin.
Knowing the nature of Hollywood, we could be getting an Archer movie at some point down the line, but I think with the show's new experimental story format, they might as well just make a small episode where everyone is brought to live-action. If all else, Jon Hamm is the perfect choice for the lead, as he can be both charming and hilarious at the same time.
