Blake Lively is asking for proof that Justin Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios lost around $400 million in earnings amid their legal battle.

Meanwhile, Baldoni filed a claim for that amount, reportedly accusing Lively of extortion and defamation after she accused him of sexual harassment and claimed his PR team launched a campaign to damage her reputation. Their back-and-forth allegations began in 2024.

Following Lively’s lawsuits filed against It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, the director countered by suing the actress’ husband, Ryan Reynolds, and The New York Times with a $400 million defamation suit.

However, according to TMZ, just this past Friday, Lively filed a request in court asking that Baldoni and his company, Wayfarer Studios, provide financial records to justify the staggering $400 million they claim to have lost.

“If you’re saying you lost $400 million, prove it. Show the documents that explain how you calculated that number,” the Gossip Girl alum’s legal team said.

Lively claims her side already requested the financial statements, but Baldoni’s team responded that they would only turn over “non-privileged documents concerning their damages,” not the private, legally protected materials Lively's team asked for.

Baldoni’s side has yet to respond to her renewed request.

Justin Baldoni Lost the Wayfarer Foundation in the Midst of the Lively-Baldoni Feud

The Wayfarer Foundation, Justin Baldoni’s philanthropic branch of Wayfarer Studios, is closing its doors. This happened amid the legal dispute between the Jane the Virgin star and Blake Lively.

The Bahá’í-inspired nonprofit organization, co-founded by Baldoni and Steve Sarowitz, announced the news on Instagram on May 3.

"I am so incredibly proud of the impact this organization has made and deeply grateful for our staff, board, donors, and partners," the post featuring Sarowitz’s statement said.

It added, "Upon unanimous decision of the board of directors, today we will begin the process of sunsetting the Foundation."

The statement also mentioned that while the organization will gradually shut down, it will not abandon its “current grant commitments.”

The group, which lists its mission as "advance humankind spiritually towards a future peaceful world civilization," focused on promoting economic prosperity, gender equality, universal education, and related causes.

They ended the statement with: “We understand that this news may come as a surprise, and we will be actively working over the next several weeks to ensure all matters are concluded with care and attention.”

Taylor Swift Reps Call Lively-Baldoni Subpoena an Attempt to “Draw Public Interest”

The trial in the legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni is set to begin next year, and Baldoni’s team has already sent a subpoena to Taylor Swift, requesting her to testify as a witness, per Deadline.

Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, reportedly wants Swift to testify for their side. However, the singer’s representatives denied her involvement and argued that the subpoena is merely a tactic to exploit her name.

“Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie. She was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see It Ends with Us until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history,” her reps said in a statement.

They added, “This document subpoena is designed to use Taylor Swift’s name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case.”

Swift’s spokesperson also clarified that her only official involvement in the film was the licensing of her song My Tears Ricochet. They noted that 19 other artists were also featured in the movie adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel.
