Another Simple Favor director Paul Feig recently called out the "boring" outrage against the film's star, Blake Lively.

The actress has been in the headlines for the past few months due to her ongoing public feud and legal drama with her It Ends with Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni.

In a recent interview with Esquire, Feig addressed the online outrage against Lively and the rumors of her alleged feud with Anna Kendrick during the making of the film.

He dispelled the rumors and speculations regarding Lively and emphasized that he had a great time working with the actress.

"Blake is an amazing collaborator, so when I read people’s misconceptions about how movies are made, it’s just frustrating for me. Every star I’ve worked with works this way. The idea that a star just shows up and you go 'Here’s the script' — please point me to one movie star who works that way," Feig said.

"When the gang on the internet get [up in arms] about something, it’s just like, 'Guys, you don’t know what you’re talking about.' I love working with Blake — she’s just the best."

Feige also slammed the online discourse against Lively for the past few months.

"Outrage is the most boring emotion humans have these days. When it’s towards something meaningful, that’s great. But people get outraged at everything? It’s like, this is what you’re angry about?" he said.

"There’s other things to be outraged about — please, go and help make the world a better place."

Blake Lively Reflects on Her 'Intense' Year

During her guest appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers last week, Lively addressed the "intense" year that she had due to the controversies.

While she didn't directly discuss her legal drama with Baldoni, she reflected on the challenges that she's been facing and why she is fighting.

"What I can say without going too into it is that this year has been the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in my life, and I see so many women around afraid to speak, especially right now, afraid to share their experiences, and fear is by design," Lively said.

"It’s what keeps us silent. But I also acknowledge that many people don’t have the opportunity to speak. So I do feel fortunate that I’ve been able to and as a woman, you have the ability to use your voice – that’s kept me strong and helped me in my belief and my fight for the world to be safer for women and girls. It’s a pretty simple thing."
