The January Girl Group Brand Reputation rankings were thoroughly measured by analyzing consumer participation, media exposure, social media communication, and community value indexes of girl groups using big data collected from December 9, 2021, until January 8, 2022.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 46,057,960 big brand data for January 2022, which was a 32.77% decrease compared to the 34,690,870 recorded in December 2021.
BLACKPINK Maintains On Top Spot At The January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
BLACKPINK members Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa, received a total brand reputation index of 5,619,627, an 8.42% increase in their total index in December 2021, which was 5,183,270. The global girl group secured its No.1 place in the January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings with a consumer participation index of 204,952, media exposure of 1,278,626, social media communication index of 1,715,350, and a community value index of 2,420,700.
High-ranking phrases for BLACKPINK include “open,” “breakthrough,” and “controversy.” While the highest-ranking related terms include “BLACKPINK The Movie,” “BLINK,” and “Snowdrop.” The latter refers to Jisoo’s new Kdrama Snowdrop opposite Jung Hae In.
IVE Debuts Second Place At The January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
IVE came in at second place at the January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings after debuting in December 2021. Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo received a total brand reputation index of 5,442,980 with a consumer participation index of 769,964, media exposure of 1,779,154, social media communication index of 1,026,851, and a community value index of 1,867,012.
Aespa Remains Third Place At The January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
Monster rookies aespa (Karina, Winter, Giselle, Ningning) maintained their spot at No.3 at the January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings. The four-member girl group accumulated a total brand reputation index of 3,497,177, a consumer participation index of 486,812, media exposure of 1,177,298, social media communication index of 680,620, and a community value index of 1,152,446.
