There's no doubt that Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman's untimely death left a massive void in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that would be hard to fill. The general belief right now is that Marvel Studios will be making up for it by introducing new characters to the fold apart from giving us T'Challa's one true successor. This week, the upcoming sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever added a new cast member in British actress Michaela Coel.

As it stands, we still don't know which character the I May Destroy You star could actually end up playing but MCU fans are convinced that she's the perfect choice to play beloved X-Men character Storm in the sequel. Of course, given Ororo Munroe's comic book history with T'Challa, it would make a lot of sense for the weather-manipulating mutant to turn up in the project and possibly address her connection with the late King of Wakanda.

Now, in case you were wondering how Coel would look like as Storm in the Marvel film franchise, an awesome artwork is making the rounds all over social media, depicting the 33-year-old actress as Ororo Munroe. I have gotta say though, it totally works. Check it out here:

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has already begun its production last month so it's safe to assume that we'll get more information regarding Coel's casting in the coming days or weeks. However, with the level of secrecy that goes around Marvel Studios' projects, it wouldn't be too farfetched to believe that the studio will try to keep everything under wraps for as long as they could and save up the grand reveal for the film itself.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will hit cinemas in 2022.
