Before Sean 'Diddy' Combs faced legal exposure, some fans speculated Justin Bieber might have been an early victim of sexual assault in his career. However, a new report clarifies that this is not the case.
Fans Initially Speculated Justin Bieber was One of Diddy's Victims
The 31-year-old singer-songwriter had never said anything about Diddy potentially acting untoward him, but fans found what appeared to be signs and signals of him nearly being s**ually trafficked by the once-known rapper and producer, "Puff Daddy."
Considering that JB was just starting out in his music career and was signed with Usher, one of Diddy's protégés, the two ended up hanging out too much for comfort on camera.
Although no legal evidence was shown, one of Bieber's famous songs, Lonely, had cryptic lyrics that led fans to believe he was pertaining to Diddy's case.
"Maybe that's the price you pay/For the money and fame/at an early age," the Lonely lyrics spoke to his fans.
Most recently, Bieber posted a photo of shipping containers with a baby on his Instagram page with the caption: "I got anger issues too, but I wanna grow and not reach so much smh," which a fan surmised may have been his way of telling them "he was also trafficked in shipping containers" or at least "trying to expose what happened."
And let's not forget a resurfaced interview clip where Justin Bieber joked about not getting the Lamborghini Diddy appeared to have promised him. It was a late-night interview on the show in 2011, when Bieber was only 16 years old.
"He had the Lamborghini for a day or two, and he had access to the house," the Last Night rapper then indirectly warned the singer to keep their secret hangouts together under wraps.
"[Justin] knows better than to be talking about the things that he does with big brother Puff on national television," Diddy added, admittedly not willing to disclose what they do when they're together, "Everything ain't for everybody."
JB's Rep Denies Allegations and Rumored Involvement
Combs was arrested in September 2024 and is currently facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation of a prostitute, facing a minimum of 15 years and a maximum life sentence, all of which he denied.
Amid his ongoing trial, Bieber's rep denied being a part of Diddy's list of victims.
"Although Justin is not among Sean Combs' victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him. Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve," the reps told TMZ in a statement on Thursday night.
According to the New York Post, multiple sources close to the Never Say Never singer also declared Diddy "never sexually or otherwise abused Bieber in any capacity."
Meanwhile, Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura is expected to return to the witness stand for a fourth and final cross-examination time as the first week of Sean "Diddy" Combs' sex trafficking trial will be drawing to a close.
