Benny Blanco admitted recently that he never watched his fiancée Selena Gomez's show Wizards of Waverly Place until they were in a relationship.
As most fans know, Gomez made her breakthrough in the hit Disney Channel show. She reprised the role of Alex Russo again last year in the sequel series Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.

In a recent interview on Therapuss With Jake Shane podcast (via EW), Blanco revealed that he never watched Wizards of Waverly Place before meeting his now-fiancée, Gomez.
"I knew she was, like, a kid star, but I had never seen any of it," he said.
He only became familiar when he learned that it was Billie Eilish's inspiration for her song "Bad Guy," as well as when he started dating Gomez.
Blanco asked Gomez to watch the series with him. She was initially hesitant, but she eventually showed him "a few good scenes."
He said of the show when he finally watched it, "I get it."
Another confession that Blanco also made in the podcast is his lack of familiarity with the Jonas Brothers until the release of their song "Sucker." Gomez and Nick Jonas notably dated during their Disney Channel days.
When Are Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez Getting Married?
Fans already know that Blanco and Gomez are engaged, and they've been wondering when the wedding ceremony will take place.
In the same interview, Blanco revealed that nothing has been set yet, as both of them are busy at the moment.
"We’re both working on so many things that we hadn’t even had time to get into it. But we’re so excited," he said.
Blanco also shared that he is hoping that they will be able to start the preparations soon.
He added, "I think this summer, we’re going to sit down and be like, ‘OK, what are we doing?" He is also expecting their wedding to be "chill" and "amazing."
