The Beckham family drama continues, with new claims suggesting that Nicola Peltz is controlling her husband, Brooklyn Beckham—allegedly treating him like a “hostage.”
Rumors of Nicola’s feud with the Beckham family began when she allegedly refused to wear a gown made by Victoria herself for her wedding to Brooklyn in 2022.
However, things took a turn for the worse when the young couple skipped David’s 50th birthday celebrations earlier this month.

Amid the rumored tensions with David and Victoria, Brooklyn’s loved ones are reportedly concerned that he is being “controlled” by his wife, Nicola.
In fact, a source told the Daily Mail that he is now being referred to as “the hostage” due to his situation.
“He is in a situation where those who love Brooklyn fear that he is being controlled by Nicola and it is heartbreaking,” the insider explained.
Concerns grew even stronger when Brooklyn shared a video on Instagram of him and Nicola riding a motorcycle together with a very cheesy caption.
“My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby,” he wrote together with two heart emojis.
“Videos like this are just not what he does. He will be dying inside,” the tipster continued. “He’s soppy, and he’s a romantic, but that video just isn’t him. He hates all of that stuff, so you have to wonder if Nicola was behind it.”
Anyhow, another source told Page Six that Brooklyn’s post was only a “simple testament of love and appreciation” for his wife.
“It’s just the latest unnecessary and baseless personal attack and hopefully it will stop soon,” they added.
How Do David and Victoria Beckham Feel About Their Son?
Meanwhile, as Brooklyn appears to grow distant from his parents, David and Victoria reportedly “feel betrayed” by their current situation.
His and Nicola’s absence from David’s birthday was described as a “blow” to the family, and there has been no communication between them since.
“Victoria and David haven’t called, texted or messaged Brooklyn directly since the birthday party,” a source told Us Weekly.
Allegedly, the estrangement stems from a “very deep tension rooted in control and different plans for Brooklyn’s future.”
As Nicola also comes from an influential family, and David and Victoria are used to being in control, there has been a major shift in their relationship with Brooklyn.
“Friends and people around them see a long road to mending this,” the insider added. “But there is a desire to mend on David and Victoria’s part.”
But despite Brooklyn’s strained relationship with his parents, his marriage with Nicola is said to be stronger than ever.
“Nicola and Brooklyn are incredibly happy together, dedicated to building a marriage based on unconditional love, caring, support and family,” the tipster claimed. “It seems this exposure to a healthy relationship has made Brooklyn question his own family and upbringing.”
