Coupang play introduced the singer-actress' character, unveiling the first sill cuts for her K-drama comeback.

The OTT platform teases fans with two still cuts featuring Bae Suzy living a double life as Yoo Mi.

Over Coupang Play's official Instagram, it illustrated the main lead donning an exhausted expression as she looked outside the window's bus.

Meanwhile, a different Yoo Mi is featured in the next still cut as Bae Suzy's character transforms into a sophisticated and classy lady.

Based on the caption, Coupang Play hints at the actress' new role, saying, "Suzy's new face that you've never seen before."

Bae Suzy's New Drama: Release Date, Cast, and What We Know So Far About 'Anna'

Anna is Bae Suzy's follow-up project, two years after the hit K-drama Start-Up was released.

Now, the 27-year-old beauty is back with a bang after landing a challenging role in Anna.

Helmed by director Lee Joo Young, the genius behind the 2017 movie A Single Rider, follows the story of a woman who loses herself after being caught up in her own lies.

Due to this, she couldn't get out of her own fictional world and was trapped living in someone else's life.

Anna, which began filming on October 15, 2021, has officially wrapped up its production last March 23, as confirmed by an outlet.

As Bae Suzy's new drama is gearing up for its much-awaited release, the thriller drama is scheduled to hit the small screen this summer.

Apart from the Hallyu star, Anna cast includes Pachinko star Jung Eun Chae, Park Ye Young, and Kim Joon Han from Hospital Playlist.

Bae Suzy and 'Anna' Director Talks About the Upcoming Thriller Kdrama

As noted by Soompi, the South Korean actress revealed what she thinks about her K-drama comeback and experience filming the series.

For Bae Suzy, she gets honest and admits that there are difficult moments while portraying the role of Yoo Mi, pointing out the character's "broad range of emotions."

Despite playing a challenging character, the actress feels thankful and says it was a "big fortune" for her to "have met a character and project like this."

Interestingly, she assured fans that filming Anna was delightful and fulfilling, saying, "I tried my best at every moment, and each moment was a challenge. I really filmed while enjoying myself, so I'm confident that it will be a really meaningful project for myself. I'm grateful to all the staff, and please show lots of interest and love for 'Anna.'"

Like Bae Suzy, director Lee Joo Young also took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the "actors and staff who did their best until the very end."

In addition, he hoped that the upcoming drama, through the "characters' stories, can touch the viewers' hearts."
