Avengers: Endgame’s Russo Brothers Are Working On A Stan Lee Movie

It looks like Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo are working on a new movie about recently passed Marvel comic book legend Stan Lee.

The directorial duo might be planning to take a break from the Marvel Cinematic Universe after working on the back-to-back production of Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, however, it seems like the Russos are going to make some time to honor Marvel's Cameo King with a new film project.

Speaking in a recent interview (via Heroic Hollywood), Anthony Russo decided to open about Stan Lee and how honored he felt that Endgame would feature Stan the Man's final physical appearance in the MCU. During the interview, Russo revealed that he and his brother were actually working on a new Stan Lee project similar to a documentary.

"We love Stan Lee and I think it's incredibly special that ‘…Endgame' will be his final cameo," Anthony revealed, "We are fascinated by the life of Stan Lee and we are actually developing a little something that has to do with his work in the history of Marvel. But we are not ready to present it or talk about it yet. It's more of a documentary."

This is definitely big news for Marvel fans. There was a lot of heartbreak when Lee passed away last year. While Lee's passing wasn't entirely unexpected considering the decline in his health, fans were torn to hear that one of Marvel's biggest legends had finally left the light. Not only was Lee the man behind so many Marvel characters, he was also the man of the people, supporting fans all over the world with his benevolent demeanor.
