We already know that Tony Stark and Steve Rogers have a complicated relationship following the events in Captain America: Civil War. However, it looks like Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans have nothing but love for each other. Evans has just discovered Downey's adorable BFF post and naturally, his reaction is absolutely perfect.

Downey had previously shared an awesome photo featuring an Iron Man action figure being shielded from a blast by a Captain America action figure. "BFFs let you share their umbrellas, right @ChrisEvans?" Downey wrote. Evans had an interesting response to the tweet. Check it out below.

"Technically it's YOUR umbrella. But I'm happy to hold it," Evans wrote.

In Civil War, Iron Man fought and was defeated by Captain America and Bucky Barnes. Before Cap could leave, Tony said that the shield doesn't belong to Steve. "You don't deserve it. My father made that shield." At this point, Steve drops the shield and walks away with Bucky.

Of course, things have changed since then. There is little doubt that Steve is hoping to reunite with Tony in Endgame and the new trailer has confirmed that the two will be working together again this April.

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26.
