Avengers: Endgame served as the conclusion of Infinity Saga, bringing together a slew of Marvel Cinematic Universe's beloved heroes. The epic event celebrates its one-year anniversary this week, and fans can't help but get emotional all over again.
During ComicBook.com's Quarantine Watch Party for Endgame, directors Joe and Anthony Russo answered some of the fans' questions as well as share some behind-the-scenes content, one of which is footage of Chris Evans' last day on set. As you know, Endgame marks a new era for the MCU, meaning it's also the end of an era for the other characters. So while it's his last day on set, it's also his last day in playing Captain America. You can check out the video below.
The clip shows the actor embracing the Endgame crew, after filming what seems to be the final battle, as others were making a round of applause. Though it is a short video, it's clear that it was an emotional day for everyone on set.
After defeating Thanos, the heroes went on their respective journeys, much like the actors in real life. The older version of Steve Rogers passed on his shield to Sam Wilson, as seen towards the end of the film. Of course, fans are excited to see Falcon's adventures as the next Captain America, but Evans' portrayal will definitely be remembered by the fans.
Avengers: Endgame is available to stream on Disney+.
