Nickelodeon just greenlit the next Avatar series and the official synopsis for Avatar: Seven Havens has officially been released.
What’s interesting is, the reveal has confirmed several leaks about the series that had come out months ago, and there are still some details that have yet to be confirmed—but are likely true considering how right a lot of the leaked info was.
Avatar: Seven Havens Plot
As far as the plot goes, the leaks have been accurate. The official logline (via Variety) for Seven Havens reads:
“Avatar: Seven Havens is set in a world shattered by a devastating cataclysm. A young Earthbender discovers she’s the new Avatar after Korra – but in this dangerous era, that title marks her as humanity’s destroyer, not its savior. Hunted by both human and spirit enemies, she and her long-lost twin must uncover their mysterious origins and save the Seven Havens before civilization’s last strongholds collapse.”
So far, the leaks have been right about Korra being the cause of a cataclysmic event that destroys the Four Nations and turns them into Seven Havens. The leaks have also been right about the Avatar being a twin, but rumors have been conflicting about whether only one twin is the Avatar, or both are Avatars. One rumor even said that the White Lotus takes one twin in thinking that she’s the Avatar, only to discover that the forgotten twin was the real reincarnation of Korra.
If the official reveal has given something that wasn’t in the leaks, it’s that the world now hates the Avatar and is associating the title with the Destroyer of Humanity. Yet another struggle for Korra to get over.
What Leaks Haven’t been Confirmed
While the official logline is short, the leaks provide a lot more information. For one, the main Avatar is said to be named Pavi and she’s supposedly younger than Aang when The Last Airbender starts. What’s more, she’s also a paraplegic and has a peg leg that will be replaced with a metal one that she can bend depending on the situation.
Here’s some concept art:
Other details reveal that Pavi’s twin is named Nisha and both of them have animal companions that are a cross between a cat and a monkey; their pets are named Geet and Ruhi.
There is also concept art for a character named Jae, and it looks like he’s the current generation of airbender who seems to have moved from their monk culture to something more akin to a guard. The last time fans saw airbenders in Legend of Korra, they had started travelling the world to help assist the Avatar in her duties, so it would make sense that after the splitting of the nations, the airbenders would already be scattered around the world.
Of course, these are just leaks, and it’s possible that plans could change mid-production. Until Nickelodeon makes the official reveal though, this is the best that fans have.
For now, no official release date has been announced for Avatar: Seven Havens, but fingers are crossed we get a premiere sometime in 2026.
