Ever since Elizabeth Olsen departed from her iconic MCU role, she has been taking projects outside the Scarlet Witch crown and has taken some time to reflect on her career.
In this case, she has decided on one condition when it comes to choosing which movies she plans on being cast in.

Considering the present times, success is defined differently, whether it's a streaming release or a theatrical one. To Olsen, she prioritizes movies that don't only end up on streaming — and for good reason.
"If a movie is made independently and only sells to a streamer, then fine. But I don't want to make something where [streaming is] the end-all," Olsen told InStyle for the publication's cover story published on Tuesday, "I think it's important for people to gather as a community, to see other humans, be together in a space."
She continued, "That's why I like sports. I think it's really powerful for people to come together for something that they're excited about. We don't even audition in person anymore."
It's not hard to empathize with Olsen's newfound goal, especially considering the friends and bonds she had formed with her MCU co-stars on set over the years.

During the conversation in the same interview, Olsen reflected on her time in the MCU and revealed she would be open to reprise her role again.
"Making the films are fun. Goofy. It's ridiculous. We're grown people like children on a playground," she told the outlet, "We're flying. We're shooting things out of our hands. And it's a character that I've gotten to return to so many times after over 10 years. It's good to put her down and then I miss her and I want her back. I'd jump at the opportunity to be in her shoes again."
In a previous interview, she also noted the number of pros that come with working within the MCU, which included the "consistency of a community and a job", "insane camera movement, stunt work, and special effects", and being a part of the "powerful thing" wherein "people are working towards one goal."
In the meantime, fans can expect Elizabeth Olsen in A24's upcoming film, Eternity, where she stars opposite Miles Teller and Callum Turner in the fantasy romantic comedy set in the afterlife.
