Hilaria Baldwin had some hot tea to spill in her newly published book, exposing a "cruel" A-list celebrity who allegedly spread "nasty and untrue" lies about her family.
The A-lister, who is believed to be Amy Schumer, was never name-dropped in Baldwin's book, Manual Not Included, but some clues seem to hit too close to home regarding their tension off-screen.
Who is Hilaria Baldwin, and What Did She Write in Her Book?
Hilaria Baldwin, wife of Alec Baldwin, is a 41-year-old American yoga instructor and entrepreneur whose book titled Manual Not Included was published on May 6 this year.
The book explores the "relatable, hard-earned insights" Hilaria learned from her experiences of being an individual, a partner, and a parent alongside her husband.
However, empowerment aside, Hilaria spilled some beans on a certain celebrity who should learn to back off from her family affairs. While her name was never mentioned in the book, there are a few hints as to who she was pertaining to.
In Hilaria's book, she wrote, there's an unnamed "famous person, someone [she's] never met, who said nasty and untrue things about [her] and [her] family," according to People.
As the author wrote, the celeb once mentioned her family in a "show" and "even tried to bait [her] and Alec via Instagram."
"We didn't engage with her and I guess I am proud of that," Hilaria added, "It made me mad at the system, but here, in this book, is where I can talk about it."
Again, the author didn't drop any names on which celebrity she's writing to, as she said in her disclaimer, "I don't need to use her name, and I don't want any problems with her, and I would like to be left out of any articles that mention her, because she has nothing to do with me. A total stranger."
Amy Schumer was Never Mentioned, But the Details Somewhat Confirm Her Identity
While it remains unclear who Hilaria might be mentioning, 43-year-old comedian Amy Schumer had touched on the Baldwin family and even Hilaria in her own segments in the past.
"I'm not trying to bully a sociopath—I have a point," Schumer previously said about Hilaria faking her Spanish heritage, "My point is that all evidence points to this woman, since she met her husband, has straight-up pretended to be from Spain."
But that's not everything that's happened between the two.
The Kinda Pregnant star previously poked fun at "Hilaria from España” by joking she's actually "Hillary from Boston."
Schumer even dragged the entire family at one point, saying that Hilaria and Alec gave their "von Trapp amount of children Spanish names like Jamón and Croqueta and Flamenco," despite the yoga instructor being from Massachusetts.
Schumer and her reps have yet to respond to the controversy. But one thing's for sure: Hilaria is not looking for an apology.
"It gutted me because I couldn't understand how someone could be so inherently cruel," then declared, "I don't need an apology. No matter what, I hope I never meet her."
