It showed us a glimpse of the return of veteran cast members such as Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, and Evan Peters, all of whom are set to play most (if not all) of the characters they played in previous seasons.
Particularly, in Lange's case, we saw a preview of her reprising all four characters she played in the past: Constance Langdon, Elsa Mars, Fiona Goode, and Sister Jude Martin.
While the story details are still murky, it was revealed that the characters have to return and come together to fight against a major evil force, which is likely similar to Apocalypse.
Aside from them, the trailer also shared a glimpse of the returns of Angela Bassett as Marie Laveau, Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery, Frances Conroy as Myrtle Snow, Jamie Brewer as Adelaide Langdon and Nan, Kathy Bates as Delphine LaLaurie, Gabourey Sidibe as Queenie, and many more.
