While every mother was out celebrating their day on May 11th, Amber Heard welcomed her newborn twins on Mother's Day.
Ever since the Aquaman star went under the radar, news about her personal life has been kept private, except when she gave birth to her kids.
Amber Heard Now Has a Family of Three
Amber Heard's family has just grown with two more pairs of feet, as the actress shared on her Instagram profile: "This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I've strived to build for years."
The post included her personal message of officially welcoming her twins right on Mother's Day 2025.
Together with her 4-year-old surrogate daughter, Oonagh Paige, Heard introduces her second daughter, Agnes, and son, Ocean, who have been "keeping her hands (and heart) full." You can check out her original post below:
Despite her own fertility challenges, Heard fought through the hurdle and first decided on making her own family in 2017.
By 2021, she made the announcement on her profile that she had "decided I wanted to have a child" and "wanted to do it on my own terms."
"Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life," Heard wrote on her post, "I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully."
"Amber is delighted to welcome the twins and complete her family," the Aquaman actress' spokesperson told People, "Mama and babies are enjoying every minute. And Oonagh is happily running the show."
The Latest Scoop on Amber Heard Since Going Low-Key
Things have been quiet surrounding Amber Heard after facing her legal battles with ex-husband Johnny Depp that ended in 2022. She flew solo to live in Madrid, Spain, which has been a part of her plans all along.
"I get to be a mom, like, full time, you know?" Heard told NBC News in a 2022 interview, "Where I'm not having to juggle calls with lawyers."
Meanwhile, in 2023, the In the Fire director Conor Allyn, who worked with Heard on the thriller, told PEOPLE that she was "living her best life in Spain with her daughter and just finding happiness in that way."
The filmmaker added how much of a "dedicated mom" Heard has been and how she has been "really good about making the time" for Oonagh. There is no doubt she'd repeat the same motherly process with her newborn twins this time, according to her post.
Before being cast away on Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Amber Heard's last movie was working with Allyn on In the Fire. It was filmed in 2023 and had a theatrical release in October of the same year.
Heard starred as the doctor who "travelled to a remote plantation in the 1890s to care for a disturbed boy." Allyn even said that it was "no coincidence" that Heard shared remarkable similarities with the character.
"In real life, Amber is a fearless truth teller who sticks to her own convictions no matter what horrible trouble comes of that."
