Amber Heard took to Instagram, on Wednesday afternoon, to express her “disappointment” after the jury in the defamation case filed by Johnny Depp against her reached a verdict earlier today. The jury awarded the Pirates of the Caribbean actor $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages in his defamation suit.

The Aquaman actress, who was stoic in the courtroom as the verdict was read, released a statement reacting to the jury siding with Johnny Depp:

The seven-person jury did find in Amber Heard’s favor in one of her counterclaims and awarded her $2 million in compensatory damages, but $0 in punitive damages.

Amber Heard left the courtroom after the verdict was read, with her lawyers following behind. The Zombieland actress stared down as the verdicts were read, but did look to the jury as they polled afterward.

Meanwhile, in a statement, Johnny Depp celebrated his victory in his defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard:

Johnny Depp was not in the courtroom when the verdict was read out. Representatives for the Fantastic Beasts star earlier revealed that the Black Mass actor would be watching from Britain as he has been traveling with close pal Jeff Beck up until last night.

On the other hand, Amber Heard attended the reading of the verdict in the Fairfax County Courthouse alongside her lawyers. The Never Back Down actress asked for $100 million in damages in a lawsuit claiming Johnny Depp smeared her by calling her a liar.
