Zendaya is making it BIG in 2026 as she's not only starring in four movies, but also making her return in one of her most prominent TV shows.
Here are the five expected projects we'll be seeing her in, starting April 2026:
The Drama (April 3, 2026)
After Elizabeth Olsen's Eternity and Timothée Chalamet's Marty Supreme, A24 will be kicking 2026 off with The Drama, which will be released on April 3, 2026.
The Drama stars Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, the main couple of the story, who are looking forward to their wedding. That is, as the official premise states, until one partner "discovers unsettling truths about the other."
And if you're thinking it's a horror movie, it's not. Based on the trailer, The Drama has the potential to be a psychological dramedy/thriller about the couple's relationship dilemma. Considering what A24 is capable of (Midsommar, Heretic, and Pearl), you can bet the studios will put their own spin on The Drama.
The Odyssey (July 17, 2026)

Based on Homer's epic poem about the hero, Odysseus' long perilous 10-year journey home to Ithaca after facing the Trojan War and surviving monsters, gods, and temptations, comes another live-action adaptation, this time, developed by Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan.
Apart from Zendaya taking the role of Athena, The Odyssey is filled with A-list celebrities, resulting in growing anticipation for the adaptation: Matt Damon as Odysseus, Robert Pattinson as Antinous, Mia Goth as Melantho, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, Jon Bernthal as Menelaus, Charlize Theron as Circe, and more, in undisclosed roles.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day (July 31, 2026)
In the MCU's fifth Spider-Man movie, Zendaya will likely be reprising her role as MJ, except this version has no recollection or memories of Peter Parker and Spider-Man, after what happened in No Way Home.
This time, Tom Holland's Peter Parker has to navigate going through college with zero friends and zero identity from the public, all the while facing old and new enemies as he redefines his heroic path alone.
Dune: Part Three (December 18, 2026)

Spider-Man is not the only franchise where Zendaya's return will be expected. Dune: Part Three continues the Frank Herbert-based story, with the third installment taking place 12 years after the first film. This time, it will focus on Paul Atreides as he grapples with his role as emperor, with the holy war (that has killed billions) putting a burden on his name and power.
Euphoria Season 3 (April 2026)

Zendaya may be thriving, but her character in Euphoria hits rock bottom, five years post-high school. As told by Euphoria creator Sam Levinson himself, season 3 will show Rue trying to pay off her debt to Laurie in Mexico, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) are engaged, living in the suburbs, with Cassie still navigating her envious self on everyone else's social media updates.
Jules, on the other hand, is in art school trying to pursue a career as a painter while avoiding responsibilities at all costs. Maddy is working in Hollywood at a talent agency. "She's obviously got her own side hustles going." Lastly, Lexi, Cassie's sister, is an assistant to a showrunner played by Sharon Stone.
Levinson teases that season 3 will drop the biggest plot point in the series: "I feel strongly this is our best season yet... I promise that it will be an unforgettable night."
Shrek 5 (June 30, 2027)
Shrek 5 was initially set to release on December 23, 2026, in time for Christmas, but it was eventually moved to be released on June 30, 2027, instead.
Still, it's worth reminding fans that Zendaya will be joining the voice cast behind the growing Dreamworks franchise as Felicia, aka Shrek and Fiona's teenage daughter, who will likely be the center of the story as they navigate a teenage ogre in their swamp.
