Wizards of the Coast, heavy metal bands, and other Magic: The Gathering outlets gave us an early sneak peek of the upcoming Norse mythology-inspired set, Kaldheim during the Week of Metal to hype us up before the full previews begin on January 7.

Mastodon revealed the four Pathway MDFCs (Modal Double-Faced Card) to complete the cycle of rare lands that Zendikar Rising introduced.

Houston-based metal band Oceans of Slumber revealed the first Planeswalker card from Kaldheim: Kaya, the Inexorable.
Swedish melodic death metal band Amon Amarth revealed Halvar, God of Battle // Sword of the Realms MDFC and its Showcase version for both front and back sides:
