All of Us Are Dead actor Lim Jae Hyuk has a more terrifying story than being stuck during a zombie apocalypse.
All of Us Are Dead took over the world by storm as it changed the usual plotline of zombie apocalypse flick. Instead of having veteran stars star in the now-hit Netflix series, the creator chose to star young and yet-to-be-discovered actors and actresses to give them a chance to be in the spotlight.
One of them is Lim Jae Hyuk, who played the role of Yang Dae Su in the series. But far from the life he has on All of Us Are Dead, Lim Jae Hyuk actually has to work harder to live in real life.

Lim Jae Hyuk Works on Multiple Part-Time Jobs After All of Us Are Dead
In a February video by YouTuber Lee Jin Ho, which became viral again recently, he revealed that the 27-year-old still juggles his time in different jobs after the success of All of Us Are Dead.
Lim Jae Hyuk reportedly works as a construction worker and a delivery rider for Coupang, a Korean company.
“In order to become an actor, he grit his teeth to survive every day, and worked part-time as a construction worker, courier, and delivery driver. Life is quite tough for him,” Lee Jin Ho said.

The young actor already graduated from the Korea National University of Arts in 2016 and has already become part of several movies, dramas, and musicals. However, nothing ever took him to fame except for All of Us Are Dead.
He also explained in You Quiz on the Block that his financial status remains the same after the Netflix series’ success. He reportedly spends $1,000 to $1,110 for a month’s rent and living expenses. With that, he has to do five part-time courier jobs to earn at least $670.
In the past, he also worked in a fish store, mart, and a butcher’s shop. He also tried working as a waiter.
But his instant success due to the zombie apocalypse series, his fans now hope that he could land more roles soon.
Lim Jae Hyuk Made a Sacrifice For The Series
Before All of Us Are Dead, Lim Jae Hyuk’s previous job reportedly asked him to lose weight. Thus, he ended up shedding 66 pounds.
But when he auditioned in the series, he was told that the production team had a different Yang Dae Su in mind. In the original webtoon, the character has a bigger frame so he can protect other people. Since the production believed he was a perfect fit, they asked him to gain weight.
Lim Jae Hyuk managed to gain 71 pounds, embodying the character’s suffering on bullying and obesity. Since it has been two years since All of Us Are Dead completed filming, Lim Jae Hyuk already had his slimmer physique back.
