The first episode of Alice in Borderland Season 2 immediately announced that the Second Stage had commenced and that the first Face Card Game was underway.

Although the rules were not deliberated, the King of Spades didn't waste time getting into the action. He rained gunfire over the confused survivors gathered around Shibuya Station.

Ryohei Arisu was quick to deduce that the King of Spades was the one attacking them and he and his companions figured out that the entire Borderlands was the venue, aka his "playground."

This meant that the Face Card Game, also known as Survival, could be in play at any time when they are not participating in a different game.

The King of Spades is truly unique in the Second Stage because of his lifespan and collection of body counts.

The Second Stage has the most participants (where all players took part) and the widest venue coverage (the entire Borderlands).

Survival also has the biggest number of defeated participants, thanks to the man, the King of Spades himself.

So, Who is the King of Spades?

Although he isn't formally introduced in the live-action series adaptation, the King of Spades' name in the manga is Isao Shirabi, a former mercenary who joined the Borderlands and became a Citizen after defeating the former King of Spades.

Played by Ayumi Tanida on Netflix's Alice in Borderland season 2, the King of Spades was the second to the last contestant to be defeated in the Face Card Game.

The King of Spades' role is crucial in the game, considering that murdering him would give the player a longer visa, which is undeniably one of the best things to gain in Borderlands.

The win is attributed to Aguni with the help from Arisu, Usagi, Heiya, Ann, and Kuina.
