Agatha All Along star Joe Locke addressed the rumors surrounding his casting as Billy Kaplan in the upcoming series.

The Heartstopper actor is set to make his MCU debut in the WandaVision spinoff as a character named "Teen," a teenager who accompanies Agatha Harkness and her coven on their journey to The Witches' Road.

For months, fans have been speculating that Locke might actually be playing Billy Kaplan (aka Wiccan) in the series and the "Teen" character is just a mislead to the viewers.

In a recent interview, Locke opened up about his mysterious "Teen" character in Agatha All Along and his role in Agatha Harkness' journey.

"He's very thoughtful and kind, but he can act without thinking sometimes. The Witches' Road offers untold spoils and power… and then we’ll find out," he described his character.

When asked about the character's unusual name, Locke insisted that it's not a mysterious codename and it is what the other characters will call him in the series.

"It's not a fake code name; it's what everyone calls him, which is a joke that develops during the show, but just becomes what everyone calls him, and he answers to it," he explained.

Since we're still only just a month away from its premiere, Locke is obviously not revealing any spoiler details about his character and he won't be confirming that he might actually be playing Billy Kaplan.

Teen's real identity will likely be a major reveal later in the series which would confirm what fans have been suspecting since the rumors started to emerge online.

The trailer has also shown that the series will tie into Wanda's "death" in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness so it wouldn't be surprising if they decide to bring Billy Kaplan into the action and explain their connection.

For now, let's wait and see whether Locke's mysterious character does end up becoming Billy Kaplan, but we're seeing signs that it will likely be the case.

The first two episodes of Agatha All Along are set to premiere on Disney+ this September 18.
