Gina Carano and Disney have finally reached a settlement over the actress's lawsuit relating to her firing from The Mandalorian.
Last year, the former Star Wars star filed a lawsuit against Disney and Lucasfilm for discrimination and wrongful termination regarding her firing from the hit series. She was seeking compensatory damages and a court order that would make Lucasfilm put her back in the Star Wars franchise.
Did Disney and Gina Carano Already Reach a Settlement on the Lawsuit?

In a statement to Variety, Disney and Lucasfilm confirmed that they had already reached a mutual settlement with Carano on her lawsuit against them.
"The Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Gina Carano to resolve the issues in her pending lawsuit against the companies," they said.
"Ms. Carano was always well respected by her directors, co-stars, and staff, and she worked hard to perfect her craft while treating her colleagues with kindness and respect."
The terms of the settlement, including the amount that the company is paying to Carano, have not been disclosed at the moment.
Carano has also celebrated the settlement in a statement, where she thanked her supporters and the people who helped her navigate the case, such as Elon Musk, who helped fund her lawsuit.
"I have come to an agreement with Disney/Lucasfilm which I believe is the best outcome for all parties involved. I hope this brings some healing to the force," she said.
Is Gina Carano Returning to Star Wars?
So far, there is no indication that Carano will be officially invited back to the Star Wars franchise and reprise the role of Cara Dune.
In the statement, Disney suggested that there might be an opportunity to work again with Carano in the future.
"With this lawsuit concluded, we look forward to identifying opportunities to work together with Ms. Carano in the near future," they said.
Meanwhile, Carano teased that she intends to continue to "remain in the arts," although there is no suggestion on whether Star Wars will be part of her future plans.
She said, "I am excited to flip the page and move onto the next chapter. My desires remain in the arts, which is where I hope you will join me."
