What Is A Sign of Affection About?
A Sign of Affection revolves around Yuki, who has been deaf since birth and is accustomed to using sign language and her phone for communication.
However, English poses a challenge for her, and when a tourist seeks directions, she finds herself on the verge of breaking down.
Just in time, a charming stranger named Itsuomi intervenes to help. As fate would have it, Itsuomi is a mutual acquaintance of a friend.
He is a worldly adventurer fluent in three languages but has never become friends with someone with a hearing impairment.
Despite their differences, a magnetic connection forms between them, leading to plans for a romantic winter date. Still, Yuki’s childhood friend is apprehensive, fearing potential heartbreak.
Will this connection prove genuine, or will it melt like snowflakes in the winter air?
A Sign of Affection is based on the manga of the same name by suu Morishita.
A Sign of Affection Gets English Dub Release
The English dub of A Sign of Affection premiered on January 20, 2024, with new dubbed episodes expected to air weekly thereafter.
Crunchyroll confirmed early on that the series is getting the English dub treatment, so it's not surprising that the dub arrived soon after the anime debuted.
Do take note that the English version is behind by two episodes from the original Japanese version.
