The successful film series of John Krasinski is getting another one in its roster with the spin-off prequel, A Quiet Place: Day One, and the director proudly revealed that filming has finally commenced in a new set of behind-the-scenes images.
The post-apocalyptic take of John Krasinski is finally having its spin-off prequel with A Quiet Place: Day One which is set to take place in the first few days of the invasion of the monstrous species that while couldn't see, has heightened hearing.
Director John Krasinski just posted that filming commenced for A Quiet Place: Day One as he reveals who are the people he is working with on the promising project like Michael Sarnoski, a writer and director, and Lupita Nyong'o.
The details of the plot of A Quiet Place: Day One are still in the shadows but given its title, it could be deduced that it would take place on the first few days of the apocalypse.
The confirmation of A Quiet Place: Day One happened in April 2022 at CinemaCon where the title of the spin-off prequel has been announced.
A promising roster of people are working on the project with John Krasinski with the producers Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller having a full force behind the camera. A Quiet Place: Day One is a joint venture project between Paramount Pictures, Platinum Dunes, and Sunday Night Productions.

The release of A Quiet Place: Day One is supposedly on March 31, but then it was pushed back to September 22, 2023, before finally having its official release date on March 8, 2024 in theaters.
The inclusion of Academy Award winning actress Lupita Nyong'o and Stranger Things fan-favorite Joseph Quinn was announced in November. The latest addition to the cast is The Naked Brothers Band's Alex Wolff who previously appeared in Hereditary among others.
The cast and the crew are currently in London for the principal photography of the film.
A Quiet Place: Day One is slated for a theatrical release on Marck 8, 2024.
