The Rise of Skywalker will hit the theaters in just a few weeks from now. And since we're getting closer to the film's debut, multiple trailers, TV spots, and posters are being released to tease what Star Wars fans will look forward to in the final installment of the Skywalker Saga. And now, one comes in the form of a commercial, and it seems like the surprises are never-ending.
A Redditor under the user YubNub1289 shared a McDonald's commercial to promote the toys in-line for the upcoming movie. And while the clip shows characters that the fans are familiar with, a new walker was spotted, and it seems to be something that hasn't been featured before in previous Star Wars movies.
At around mark 0:09 of the commercial, the kids were looking up to a walker in the woods. The fighting vehicle doesn't seem to be familiar, but it is similar to other walkers that fans are aware of. Some people pointed out that it looks similar to an AT-DP or an AT-PT. However, what makes it different from the others is the huge claw attached in front of it.
While it was spotted in the toy commercial, it isn't exactly confirmed if the walker, or even something similar to it, would appear in the upcoming movie. Needless to say, it got fans really excited and curious to see what the walker is actually used for.
