Logan Paul says he has changed a lot recently, and becoming a father played a crucial role in this transformation.
The YouTube star and professional wrestler revealed this in an interview on Wednesday while attending the carpet premiere for his new reality show, Paul American.
How Becoming a Father Changed Logan Paul’s Priorities
Logan Paul opened up to People on March 26 about how fatherhood has been life-changing for him so far.
His journey as a dad began in November when he and his fiancée, Nina Agdal, welcomed their daughter, Esmé. Since then, he admitted that becoming a father has made him “less selfish” and that he’s no longer his own top priority.
“Prior to Nina, I was No. 1 in my life. Now with Esmé, my daughter, I’ve dropped two rungs down the priority ladder. It’s Esmé, Nina—those are interchangeable—then me. So for the first time in my life, I’m not my first concern. I would die for these women,” he said, adding that he hadn’t shared those feelings with anyone before.
Agdal, whom the WWE Superstar got engaged to in July 2023, also shared that he has been more motivated since Esmé was born.
"He's working really hard. He wants to show her that she can do anything. He's obviously a softy with her—he loves her so much. But he's also become very dedicated to pursuing even bigger dreams."
The model also mentioned that becoming a mother has been a transformative experience for her, making her appreciate the importance of good character while raising their daughter.
"I want to be a good example for my daughter, and I think the people around me are a reflection of me. So being around good people with good morals and values is really important to me."
Paul and Agdal announced their engagement nearly two years ago on their Instagram, captioning it: "Engaged to my best friend.” A month later, they shared that they were expecting their first child.
Logan Paul Talks About his New Max Original Series, Paul American
Logan Paul’s reality show, airing exclusively on Max, Paul American, also features his brother, Jake Paul.
The docuseries, which premiered on March 27, follows the brothers' rise to fame as online influencers and how it affected their lives.
Also featured in Paul American is the siblings’ infamous rivalry, which led them to create diss tracks about each other.
“At some point, we started talking about who gets more views, who gets more subscribers,” the younger Paul mentioned in the show.
The older brother talked about how viewers tuned in religiously to their public feud and enjoyed it. In their 20s at the time, he noted that “the line between reality and content” became blurry, and making videos took over their lives.
When discussing his most famous diss track against Jake, The Fall of Jake Paul, he admitted, “I’m not proud to say this, but my diss track on my brother is my most viewed video of all time.”
The controversial video, which featured professional boxer Jake Paul's ex-girlfriend, Alissa Violet, implied that she had an intimate relationship with Logan.
He continued, “I look back on it now, and I’m ashamed. I’m truly ashamed of whatever version of myself that was.”
The Paul brothers, who have not shied away from controversies and legal battles in the past, also revealed that their rivalry in 2017 earned them around 50 million dollars.
