Paramount+'s hit Yellowstone prequel series 1923 is set to return early next year. It will continue the saga of the Dutton family in the early 20th century.
Originally, it was slated to be a limited series before creator Taylor Sheridan decided to turn it into a two-season prequel instead as he wanted to tell more stories of the Dutton family in 1923.

Season 2 of 1923 will continue the story of Jacob and Cara Dutton and their generation of the family during the year 1923.
In the show's next and final chapter, "a cruel winter brings new challenges and unfinished business to Jacob and Cara back at Dutton ranch."
"With harsh conditions and adversaries threatening to end the Dutton legacy, Spencer embarks on an arduous journey home, racing against time to save his family in Montana. Meanwhile, Alexandra sets off on her own harrowing trans-Atlantic journey to find Spencer and reclaim their love."
During the airing of the final episode of Yellowstone last Sunday night, the teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated second season was released which gave fans an early glimpse. You can watch it above.
Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, Brandon Sklenar, Julia Schlaepfer, Timothy Dalton, Jerome Flynn, Darren Mann, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Michelle Randolph, and Sebastian Roché are returning to star in the new season. Jennifer Carpenter joins the cast for a recurring role.
When is 1923 Season 2 Coming Out?
The highly-anticipated season 2 of 1923 is set to premiere on Paramount+ on Sunday, February 23, 2025.
More trailers and promos are set to be released in the coming months leading up to its release in spring.
For the past few months, Sheridan's shows have been massively popular in Paramount+ and there is no doubt that the new season will achieve the same reception as well, especially since it will be its final chapter.
Given that Yellowstone recently ended its run, there is more hype for the new season as it gives the fans more Dutton family saga stories on their screen.
